| Mr.
Vollmer has spent the last 5 years designing large enterprise data
network solutions for Fortune 500 companies including: Exxon Mobil,
Boeing, Gannett, Lockheed Martin, and Fannie Mae. He is now the
Director of Information Technology for VII Inc., an international
strategic planning and technology consulting firm that specializes
in emerging national and government initiatives. VII's clients
include officials in some of the top government and corporate
institutions in North America, Middle East, Europe and Pacific Rim.
Prior to VII, Mr. Vollmer was a Network Solutions Architect for
Dimension Data and a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Southwest Bell
Corporation (SBC) Data Comm.
Mr. Vollmer has over 10 years of experience
with a strong combination of technical knowledge, sales, and
communications skills with a diverse background in design and
integration of LAN/WAN internetworking technologies. Specifically,
expertise in routing and network protocols, variety of networking
infrastructure (hubs, routers, switches, gateways, etc.), VPNs,
firewalls, wireless, video conferencing, content networking, network
management, disk and library storage systems, Microsoft networking,
and IP telephony (Cisco Call Manager, uOne and Unity). Workgroup
supervision, good communication/presentation and demonstration
skills, hands on troubleshooting and problem resolution, ability to
work under pressure to deliver within required time frames, ability
to coordinate multi-vendor solutions in a seamless and transparent
fashion. He was awarded a certificate for outstanding leadership
from Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc. regarding work on Integrated
Information System (ISS) for a major US Government client.
Mr. Vollmer graduated from Radford
University in 1997 with a Bachelors degree in International
Marketing with emphasis in Spanish and Sociology. Mr. Vollmer has a
Secret US government security clearance.
